Job Title: Senior Director of Programs

Reports to: Executive Director (ED)

Salary: Full-time Position, Competitive Salary and Benefits

Job Description: Progressive, community-based organization seeks a Senior Director of Programs to oversee a wide range of child and family support initiative. This position will take on the direct supervision of the managers of programs, ranging from early childhood home visiting services, onsite licensed childcare, afterschool and summer enrichment for K-12 students, to assisting families with financial stability. Strong ability to work in partnership with ED, as well as flexibility in working with a dynamic and changing organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, monitor, evaluate (including data collection), and support CCF's signature programs
  • Supervise Program Directors and conduct performance management reviews
  • Represent CCF programs at local and state-level meetings
  • Collaborate with grant writer on program RFPs
  • Jointly create goals and work plans
  • Oversee staff meetings and professional development
  • Partner with Executive Director of CCF-wide issues and strategy

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Five years experience leading or co-managing a nonprofit or programs in a nonprofit
  • Familiarity with a wide range of family and community support initiatives
  • Proven ability to supervise and build effective teams
  • Administrative experience: technical, budgeting, and project management
  • Grants management and grant writing experience
  • Bachelors degree/Masters preferred in Human Services or related field

AmeriCorps Service Opportunities

Join our AmeriCorps team to support elementry school students in Woonsocket!

During the school year, CCF AmeriCorp Service Members partner with classroom teachers during the school day to support the entire class, then assist small groups of students using multi-sensory early literacy intervention techniques. During the afternoons, AmeriCorps members support CCF’s afterschool programs by assisting or teaching hands-on enrichment classes like Lego building, jewelry making, Spanish culture and sports and games. In the summer, AmeriCorps members utilize their leadership and curriculum development experience to run a six-week summer camp for K-2 students.

We offer a wide range of service commitments ranging from full time (1700 hours), half time (900 hours) to minimum time (300 hours). If you are interested in making the difference to a young child, consider the AmeriCorps program at CCF!

Federal Work Study students receive employment opportunities as part of a partnership between CCF and local colleges/universities.
